Plastic Surgery Before & After Gallery
When you have stretched-out skin on your abdomen, weight-loss, exercise or liposuction is not a solution, and can even exaggerate the appearance of loose skin. The only solution is Abdominoplasty (a.k.a. tummy tuck). Abdominoplasty is not just about correcting excess skin. It also allows us to remove excess fat deposits, and most impressively, it allows us to tighten the fascia and muscle of the abdominal wall to create a more appealing silhouette.
Loose skin can arise in the arm through weight loss or ageing. Arm lift (Brachioplasty) is the operation in which loose arm skin is excised. As with all dermolipectomy procedures, the art is in hiding the scar effectively while obtaining a careful balance of tension to achieve optimal cosmesis. For some patients, liposuction is included to manage excess fat on the outer surface of the arm- many patients have fatty outer arms and loose skin on the inner arms, and both problems need to be addressed.
Body Lift is not a very descriptive or accurate term, but it is used to describe plastic surgery that lifts and volumizes sagging thigh (thigh lift) and sagging/deflated buttock tissues (Buttock Lift, Brazilian Butt Lift). Body lifts are used most often to manage cutis pleonasmus, the loose tissues that remain after major weight-loss. This surgery can transform lives as it has both functional and cosmetic rewards.
Surveys of breast augmentation patients reveal over 90% satisfaction, but will breast augmentation be right for you? Our Breast Augmentation Program has established its superb reputation based on personalized attention to your needs and meticulous surgical care. You will receive personal pre-operative counselling with Dr. Kreidstein (not ‘breast augmentation consultant’ as is done in some practices).
Ptosis is the term used to describe sagging tissues, and breast lift is the term used to describe an operation to correct ptosis and reshape the breasts. Mastopexy or Mammoplasty are other common terms for this group of procedures. For some patients, modest problems with breast shape can be improved with implants, liposuction or fat grafting, or even a suture lift technique.
Brow lift is the one procedure we occasionally need to 'sell' to our patients, as they often will not appreciate how important brow position is to the appearance of the upper eyelid. We offer several surgical procedures, modifying our technique to the specific needs of our patient.
Rhinoplasty (reshaping of the nose, a.k.a. nose job) is our most popular facial feature enhancement procedure. Understanding your cosmetic goals is essential to a great outcome, so in addition to a thorough examination and discussion, at your consultation we will utilize ‘morphing’ software to modify your existing picture and reach a realistic picture of your desired surgical outcome.
Otoplasty describes any procedure to reshape the ear. This is a valuable procedure for both young and old, but try to come see us when you’re young, as setback of outstanding ears is covered by insurance for those less than 18 years old. Repair of torn earlobes is a very common and simple procedure.
Facial ageing is a complex process, but the descent of facial fat from the midface into the lower face is particularly important. This operation is appropriately termed ‘facelift’ and not ‘face-tighten’ surgery. Our goal through surgery is not to create artificially tight skin, but rather to re-establish the proportions and tone of youth.
