Rhinoplasty: Closed vs. Open

Open Tip Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty (nose reshaping surgery) is one of the most powerful techniques we have for improving your appearance. We use the ‘open tip’ technique when the nasal tip requires multiple maneuvers to achieve the best result. Healing takes a little longer, but by 10 days most patients have little if any bruising and beautiful results can be had by two to three weeks. No nasal fracture was required for this patient. Our key to good results is a careful analysis of the cosmetic problem, and then choosing the techniques that can reliably achieve the appropriate correction.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

    Hi Colette,
A referral from your MD is appropriate. We often recommend a spreader graft for this problem. OHIP coverage is likely.

I believe a small intervention in my nose may be very useful to me. i have one nostril that closes when breathing and if I hold it up I can breathe with relief.Do I need a referral from my family doctor for such treatment? if not do I simply make an appointment with your office.. Lastly would this intervention be covered by OHIP?
This has nothing to do with my looks ,I am satisfied of how I look.
